Unfortunately from time to time boilers and other components of the heating systems will stop working, we can diagnose and repair the problem for you. We work on all makes and models of boilers, Vaillant, Worcester-Bosch, Baxi, Potterton, Ideal, Halsted, Biasi, Vokera, Glow-worm and other manufacturers

Annual Servicing and Safety Checks
All Gas appliances should be inspected/serviced on an annual basis to ensure that they are in good working order and to ensure that they are running efficiently.

Boiler Replacements
We can supply and fit all makes of boilers. Historically boilers have been installed in the kitchen of most houses but can be installed almost anywhere in the house including the loft, the main consideration is the route of the pipe-work. One consideration when having an extension built is to ensure that the boiler currently fitted has a sufficient output for any additional heat requirement.

Landlords Certificates
All rented properties that have any gas appliances i.e. cooker, boiler, gas fires etc are required by law to have an annual inspection and have a Landlords Gas Safety Certificate. The appliances are not required to be serviced annually but is recommended to ensure they continue to work safely and efficiently.

Powerflushing
Over a prolonged period of time central heating systems can build up a sludge which restricts the flow of water in the system and can cause excessive noise and cold spots. We offer a service that entails pumping a chemical cleaner round the system using a flushing machine that reverses the flow backwards and forward to loosen any build-ups of sludge, we clean each individual radiator by shutting all the other radiators on the system. Once completed the system is treated with an inhibitor to prevent sludge from building up again.

Thermostatic Valves
Although most houses are fitted with a wall mounted thermostat in one of the rooms, each of the radiators can be fitted with Thermostatic Valves to better control the individual room temperatures.
